Effective May 1, 2024 there is a fee of $25 per course for rush transcript requests. For more information, click here.

Your point totals and feedback from your instructor will be posted in Canvas under the Grades tab. However, your License Renewal transcripts are only available using the License Renewal transcript request form below.

Transcripts are available only when all work has been submitted and graded and two weeks after the course end date listed on your registration confirmation. If you need your transcript expedited, there is a $25, fee per course. You can order rushed transcripts here.

All transcript requests will be fulfilled within two business days.*

**This form is for License Renewal transcript requests. For Graduate Credit transcript requests, scroll to the bottom of this page.

Your request will be fulfilled within two business days. Please do not submit multiple requests less than 48 hours apart.

Transcripts requested within 72 hours of a License Renewal deadline will be processed in the order they were received.

**Please allow 4-6 weeks from the end date of your course to allow time for the BOEE to process your renewal.** If your renewal date falls within 4-6 weeks of the end date of your course, please contact the Registrar's Office at 515-381-0588 or mark@iowasafeschools.org so that we may discuss options that work best for you.

GRADUATE CREDIT TRANSCRIPTS

Please read this entire section before ordering your transcript!

Graduate credit transcripts for courses completed after 9/1/2023 are available through Drake University at https://www.drake.edu/registrar/transcripts/.

Graduate transcripts are not available until three full weeks after the course end date have passed. If you request your transcript from Drake University through the National Clearing House portal before the three-week turnaround time has concluded, your grades will not be reflected on your transcript. You will not be refunded for a blank or incomplete transcript, nor will you receive a complimentary re-order.

You are responsible for confirming that your grades have been fully processed before requesting your graduate transcript. When your transcripts are ready to be requested, you will receive an automated email from Drake University with the subject line "Grade Posted". Sometimes, these emails get trapped in SPAM filters or sorted into a "promotions" or "updates" tab in email servers like Gmail, so we suggest searching your inbox for either "Drake University" or "Grade Posted" if more than three weeks have passed since the course end date and you haven't seen an email.

If you cannot locate an email, but it's been more than three weeks since the course end date and you have a passing grade in the class, please email Mark Turnage at mark@iowasafeschools.org.

A final grade being displayed in Canvas does not* indicate that your transcript is ready to be requested.

**While nearly all transcripts will be processed within the three-week turnaround timeframe, Safe Schools Academy is not responsible for any delays once submitting grades to Drake University. Any University holidays, system network interruptions or failures, or other unforeseen circumstances within the Drake University system are beyond Safe Schools Academy’s control. If you receive an extension on your course for any reason, it may delay the turnaround time for transcript processing.

For those who completed classes for Graduate Credit between 7/13/19 to 9/1/23:

Grades are posted to your Morningside University transcript upon receipt from Iowa Safe Schools. Once grades are posted to your Morningside University transcript, you will receive an email notification and access to the Graduate Partner Portal in CampusWeb. The Graduate Partner Portal is where you can view your transcripts, request transcripts, and download the 1098T Tuition Statement tax form.

Unless notified otherwise, grades are submitted from Iowa Safe Schools to Morningside University the second Wednesday after your course end date.

For those who completed classes for Graduate Credit BEFORE 7/13/19:

Your class transcript will be available through Drake University.
